The Water of Leith Walkway
A lovely sheltered walk, along a part of Edinburgh few discover. In total it's over 12 miles long (map) and goes from Leith all the way to Balerno at the edge of the city. However, the most popular stretch is from Stockbridge, past the Dean Village and on to the Museum of Modern Art (less than 2 miles). A lovely walk which you can combine with viewing local Art Galleries.
Start at Saunders Street then continue on till you go under Dean Bridge (explore the village). Keep on past the waterfall and look for signs for the Museum of Modern Art.
Directions: No direct buses. Take a taxi to Saunders Street, Stockbridge. Should be less than £14 by taxi.
