Check in/Departure
Let us know when you expect to arrive in Edinburgh. If guests are arriving/departing on the same day, we need time to get the place ready. We will do our best to accommodate your travel plans. Please keep us updated by text/email if you expect to be delayed beyond the
agreed meeting time. There is a charge of £20 for arrivals after 10pm.
Departure time: 10.30am. (If possible, text/email Julie as soon as you have departed, so we can get things spick-and-span for our next guests.)
Deposits
20% deposit of cost is required to secure booking dates. Payment can be made by cheque or BACS.
Bacs/Internet banking - is the preferred method of payment
Cheques - payable to 'Edinburgh Lets'
Last minute bookings can be paid by cash on arrival
The main contact must notify me of their home address and contact number when sending the deposit. Acknowledgement and confirmation can then be sent. This can also be processed by email, but a home address is required for our records.
Final balance
Your final balance is payable 4 weeks before the start of your stay. An invoice will be sent for your remittance.
Cancellation charges
Personal holiday insurance is recommended to cover cancellation. You are also responsible for your own insurance to cover any loss/damage of personal belongings during your visit.
Additional charges
The price quoted for your stay includes your accommodation for the dates confirmed, weekly linen and towels, all utility charges for electricity and gas. There is Wi-Fi connection throughout the flat for personal internet devices, which is free of charge.
If you would like extra linen and towels or if excessive amounts of gas and electricity are used, we retain the right to charge an additional amount. The property and all the fitments, furniture and utensils etc must be left in a clean and tidy condition at the conclusion of your stay. In the event that the state in which the accommodation is left requires cleaning over and above that normally required, a charge would be requested to cover the cost of such additional cleaning. A charge of £15 is incurred for loss of keys. (There are four sets provided)
Damages
If any glass or crockery is broken during your stay, a reasonable amount is required to be left to replace it. Any major damage to appliances/fixtures or furniture must be reported immediately and assessment will be made for repairs or replacement.
