The Scottish National Galleries
There are three fabulous National Galleries in Edinburgh: National, Modern and Portrait. Admission is free and each offers something unique. The National Gallery is situated in the centre of Princes Street and the National Portrait Gallery is in Queen Street (5 minutes from Princes Street). Bus 4, 15, 26 and 44 all go past. The Modern Art Gallery lies close to the Dean Village and is a 15 minute walk from the west end of Princes Street. There is a free Gallery Bus which takes visitors to all three galleries. |
